We respectfully acknowledge with gratitude that the Hotel Midway is situated within the traditional territories of the Syilx Okanagan Nation, (which includes the Sinixt), who have lived on, traveled through, and stewarded these lands since time immemorial. This region has long been a place of shared use, where these Nations have hunted, gathered, and sustained their communities through deep relationships with the land and waters. We honor their enduring connections, their stewardship, and their responsibilities to this land, and we recognize their rights and protocols that continue today.
